BAITUP Albert Percy On August 29th Bert passed peacefully away after a long illness at Hillscourt Nursing Home aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Mavis, dearest dad of Roger and Yve, Keith and Jackie, loving grandad to Emma and Simon, Mark and Michelle, Stuart, Cally and Neill and much loved papa to Jessica, Morgan, Amy, Emily and Imogen. Funeral service at the Exeter and Devon Crematorium St. Peter's Chapel on Tuesday September 7th at 10.45am. No flowers please, donations to the Stroke Unit c/o Mitchell Funeral Services, King William Street, Exeter, EX4 6PD or by retiring collection. No mourning dress please by request.

    When I first met Bert he was my Inspector and was 'old school'. When he said jump, we all did. But I had total respect for him, more respect than any of the jumped-up so called 'managers' that came after him.He was a smashing bloke and you could have a great laugh with him. Proud to have known him. All my love and sympathy to Mavis and the family.
