BURFORD Terence David (Terry) Terry passed away on August 13th, 2010, aged 53 years, surrounded by his family. My cherished husband who has left me with many memories. 'What must we thank her for, lovely October, Maid of the shadows, the mist and the rain. Why do no beautiful draperies robe her? Why is she always so solemn and sober - Filling our hearts with unutterable pain? What must we say in reply to her greeting, Memories come back of the days that are dead - All that we see of the sun is so fleeting - Shadow and sunlight alternatively meeting - Why have our dreams in the mistiness fled? What can we find in October to cheer us? Faith that is stronger, that nothing can stem; Dreams of our loved ones who still hover near us - Who, when we call through the darkness can hear us - Let us be glad of the stillness with them' Well she gave me Terry and she gave our children their Dad and he will stay with us forever until we all meet again. Terry's funeral service will take place at Gilroes Crematorium on Friday, August 27th at 1.30pm.
