British folk singer and songwriter Lesley Duncan died on 12 March, 2010, aged 66.
She began recording in the early 1960s and released her debut album Sing Children Sing in 1971.
Before that she had written and sung a duet with Elton John, Love Song, from his 1970 album Tumbleweed Connection, and performed backing vocals for Dusty Springfield.
She also collaborated with rock bands, including Pink Floyd, singing backing vocals on The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), and the Alan Parsons Project, providing lead vocals for If I Could Change Your Mind in 1979.
She released another four albums and appeared on various other LPs and singles.
In 2000, Edsel Records began re-releasing her recordings on CD.
