CARTLEDGE Marrianne Brenda (Formerly Simpson) (known as Maz to many) Marrianne of Belper, but formerly Alvaston, slipped from this life into the next, on Monday 8th March 2010, aged 55, after a brave and courageous battle with cancer, during which, she treasured and made the most of life alongside her illness. Marrianne will be deeply missed by her three children, Karen, Ryan and Kyle, her father and stepmother, Dez and Margaret, and grandchildren, Kai, Courtney, Libby, Leah and Sarah, as well as her many other close family and friends. The funeral church service will be taking place on Friday 19th March, 2.40pm at Boulton St. Mary's Church, Alvaston, followed by a short committal in the Round Chapel at Markeaton Crematorium. It was Marrianne's wish for everyone to wear bright colours. In true Maz style, a celebration of her life will follow the service, taking place at Chellaston Royal British Legion, Derby Road, Chellaston.
