18th February 2010

WORSLEY On Thursday February 18th 2010 peacefully at Torbay Hospital, Ron aged 56 years. Loving husband to Rose, dear father to Jean, Katherine and Peter, grandchildren Ronnie and Anya. Funeral service to be held at Abbotskerwell Parish Church on Monday March 1st 2010 at 12.30pm followed by interment. Family flowers only, donations to Cancer Research UK may be left by retiring collection or sent to J&K Davey Funeral Service, 5 Imperial Buildings, Kingsteignton, TQ12 3HZ.

  • My dad was an...

    My dad was an amazing man, and I am so lucky to have had a wonderful 20 years with him.
    I will miss him every day for the rest of my life, but I know that wherever he is, he's happy and I will see him again.
    He was a fantastic grandad to little Ronnie and I will make sure he always knows how brilliant his grandad was :)

  • I miss you so...

    I miss you so much already, you have been the greatest dad anyone could ever ask for. i am so sad you had to go so soon, and that you had to go through such a fight these last few years, but what years they've been, Ronnie your first grandchild, then a year later my little Anya, I know just how much joy it gave you seeing these two come into the world and grow, Ronnie becoming your best mate, always running around keeping you on your toes, and you laughing and making funny faces at Anya. im so glad you got to be here for all of that.

    i know you'll be at peace wherever you are, and i know one day i will see you again, but until then i hope you keep an eye on us all and have a good laugh at us when we do something silly (which we will, im sure).

    thank you for being one of my best friends dad, i will treasure all the memories we have together and i will miss you every single day.
