  • We met in the...

We met in the Red Lion in Whitehall January 2000. You sitting at the bar wearing an emerald green suit. Me finishing a Millennium Bug contract and handing out my CV. As handed you a copy, I commented on how much I loved your suit.Who'd thave thought that a trite comment could forge such a wonderful and lasting friendship. We shared secrets; happy times and sad ones; fears and joy and propped each other up when when things got hard. You were and are such a very, very special person and someone I count myself lucky to have been able to call 'friend' - that word simply fails to encapsulate our friendship. You will never die while I hold you in my memories.
