  Norman had an amazing skill of cheering up anyone that was in his company. Whether a customer from his days as a landlord, or a companion from his many years visiting Newcastle under Lyme turkish baths, or just a friend or family member - everyone just wanted to hear him use his stock phrase that summed us his attitude to everyone and everything in life.. 'SO NICE!'
