BARROWDALE (Norman) EX LICENCEE Passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14th 2008, Norman, aged 92 years, of Silverdale, the beloved husband of the late Norah, a loved and loving dad of Roger, a much loved father-in-law of Wendy and a very dear brother of Dolly. Norman will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 24th 2008, at St Paul's Parish Church, Newcastle, at 1.30pm., prior to interment at Newcastle Cemetery. Would relatives please accept this intimation and friends wishing to attend kindly meet at St Paul's Parish Church.     Norman had an amazing skill of cheering up anyone that was in his company. Whether a customer from his days as a landlord, or a companion from his many years visiting Newcastle under Lyme turkish baths, or just a friend or family member - everyone just wanted to hear him use his stock phrase that summed us his attitude to everyone and everything in life.. 'SO NICE!'

    You were also so nice Norman to have as a client and friend.
